That car would of been rad with a proper Lexus Hybrid Drive (for power, not eco like Toyota's system) or just a really good 4 cyl.

It's not a luxury Prius. It's closer related to the world-Corolla.

It does have the same 1.8L motor that is used in the Prius, though.

yeah, and the old Prius had the 1NZ, but that wouldn't make my xB a Prius.

Toyota used loads of tech from the Prius in the CT200h. Like, the entire hybrid drivetrain. Which is essentially what makes a Prius a Prius. Not that that is an inherently bad thing, but the CT200h is essentially a somewhat sportier, more luxe Prius. I'm not deriding it, just describing what it is.

Amen to that. I like the looks, and it could have been sort of a "Lexus Hybrid GTI Thingy," but instead it's just a Prius powertrain, so...bleh.
